This new version of HAT was designed by Raspberry Pi to replace PoE HAT

The PoE+ HAT Raspberry Pi is designed to replace the existing PoE HAT in all new and existing designs.

The PoE+ HAT meets all requirements of the IEEE 802.3af (802.3at Type 1) specifications.
